FEATURING ROBERT COSTA, CBS NEWS

APS Evening at the Square

Each year, the APS community comes together for the organization’s top event, Evening at the Square. This event serves as the organization’s most important annual fundraiser and offers the community a chance to celebrate the organization’s mission with a timely message from a featured speaker.

HONORARY CO-CHAIRS

Jeanette & Kevin Prenger

Shaun Stallworth

The 2022 featured guest, Robert Costa, is the chief election and campaign correspondent for CBS News and co-author with Bob Woodward of the #1 New York Times bestseller “Peril.” Prior to joining CBS in 2022, Costa was a longtime national political reporter for The Washington Post and the moderator and managing editor for PBS’s “Washington Week.”

During a moderated conversation at the event, Mr. Costa shared his insights and observations about the American political system and election process.

Prior to the featured discussion, the 3rd Founder's Civility Award was presented by APS CEO, Allan Katz, to Leo Morton, president and COO - DeBruce companies and longtime supporter of American Public Square.

With thanks to The National World War I Museum and Memorial, host of the 2022 Evening at the Square event.
